Giulia’s Journey.

Born in Florence (1992), she discovers dance at a very early age, attending dance classes in local schools of Florence (ballet, contemporary, hip-hop, modern), and then starts assisting her teachers in managing their young companies, taking care of shows distribution, production and logistics. In 2014 she graduates in Foreign languages and literatures from University of Bologna, after attending also an extra course in history of dance held by professor Elena Cervellati and completing the curricular internship as communication assistant for Festival Fabbrica Europa/Festival au Desert in Florence. In 2017 she successfully completes theMaster degree in Performing Arts Management from Accademia Teatro Alla Scala / Politecnico di Milano, that gives her the opportunity to spend 6 months in Barcelona as intern at European Dancehouse Network and Mercat de les Flors / Centro Coreografico El Graner.

From 2017 to 2021 she works at Daniele Cipriani Entertaiment (Rome) as executive assistant to the director, she is tour manager of Daniele Cipriani dance company for productions choreographed by Amedeo Amodio (Nutcracker, Carmen, Coppelia), Mauro Bigonzetti (Mediterranea), Julien Lestel (Puccini), Micha Van Hoecke (Shine! Pink Floyd Moon), and she is production assistant for the international galas (Les Etoiles and others), presented in the most prestigious theatres in Italy and abroad, featuring the most iconic etoiles of our days, like Marianela Nunez, Daniil Simkin, Polina Semionova, Sergio Bernal, Vadim Muntagirov, Kimin Kim, Baktyiar Adamzan, Ashley Bouder, Maia Makhateli, Jacopo Tissi, and many more. She also has the chance to be production assistant of world renowned artists and companies touring in Italy and produced by DCE such as Martha Graham Dance Company, Lutz Forster, etc.

In 2022 she starts working as production coordinator at the historic association Sosta Palmizi, directed by Giorgio Rossi and Raffaella Giordano, based in Cortona. Among the associates artists supported by Sosta Palmizi, she starts taking care of Sofia Nappi and decides to deepen the commitment towards the artist in 2023 by becoming company and production manager of KOMOCO.
